Who We Are
Rhodesville Free Will Baptist Church is a Spirit-filled church family seeking to know God deeply, grow in oneness with Him, and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit together.
We believe following Jesus is a life we are meant to live with others.
So we pray together. We grow in His Word. We worship, serve, laugh, celebrate, encourage one another, and learn to recognize and obey His leading.
And when life is difficult, we walk through those seasons together too.
None of us has arrived. We all have a next step with Jesus, and we want to help one another take it.
We want RFBC to be a place where people can know God, enjoy the life He gives, grow as disciples of Jesus, build genuine relationships, and discover how God has called them to live and serve.
Seeking His Presence
At the heart of who we are is a desire to know God Himself.
Jesus has brought us near to the Father, and the Holy Spirit lives in His people. We want to live aware of His presence and responsive to His leading.
We seek Him in prayer, worship, His Word, obedience, and in the ordinary moments of everyday life.
We believe life with God is meant to be lived with joy, freedom, purpose, and a growing awareness that He is with us.
Our desire is simple: to know Him and let our lives flow from that relationship.
Prayer and Discipleship
Prayer is part of the rhythm of who we are.
It is where we draw near to the Father, bring Him what is on our hearts, listen for His direction, give thanks, pray for one another, and learn to trust Him in every season.
Sometimes prayer is filled with gratitude and celebration.
Sometimes it is where we carry one another through grief, uncertainty, or need.
In all of it, we believe God is near.
Discipleship is how we learn to follow Jesus day by day.
For us, that means walking with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what He says through Scripture and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
We believe discipleship should happen in real life — in conversations, meals, prayer, worship, serving, laughter, questions, victories, mistakes, and difficult seasons.
Everybody cannot walk closely with everybody, but nobody should have to walk alone.
We want people at RFBC to have others who will celebrate with them, pray with them, encourage them, challenge them, and walk with them as they grow.
Living L.I.F.E. Together
Living L.I.F.E. Together gives words to the kind of church family we want to be.
Love First
We want the love God has shown us in Jesus to shape the way we treat people, serve, forgive, speak, welcome others, and enjoy life together.
Love celebrates with people in good seasons and stays present in hard ones.
Intentionally Follow Jesus Together
We make room for relationships where we can pray together, learn together, laugh together, encourage one another, and keep taking steps with Jesus.
We want to walk with humility, love, and grace, protecting the unity God gives us as we follow Him.
There will be moments to celebrate and moments when someone needs help carrying the weight. We want to be present for both.
Find Our Foundation in Christ
Jesus is our foundation.
His Word shapes what we believe and how we live. His grace is our hope, and our confidence is in Him.
Because our foundation is secure in Christ, we can face life with hope, grow through challenges, and enjoy the good gifts He gives us along the way.

Whatever your story or where you are in your journey, you are welcome to come, ask questions, encounter Jesus, build relationships, and take your next step.
There is room to worship, learn, serve, laugh, grow, and simply get to know people.
And as we grow, we want to keep making room for others too.
What We Believe
What we believe shapes the way we live.
We believe in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He came in the flesh, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and is the only way of salvation.
We believe salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our authority for faith and life.
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in believers, teaches us, leads us, forms the life of Jesus in us, gives gifts to His people, and empowers us to live as witnesses of Christ.
We believe the church is the family of God, called to worship, pray, grow, serve, love one another, rejoice together, carry one another’s burdens, and share the good news of Jesus.
Our Story
RFBC has been part of this community for many years.
We are grateful for the faithful people who have prayed, served, given, worked, preached, loved people, celebrated together, and helped carry this church through different seasons.
A lot has been poured into this place — not just into a building, but into people and relationships.
We honor those who came before us and those who are still faithfully serving today.
And we believe God is still at work.
We are thankful for what has been entrusted to us, and we are looking forward with hope to what He will continue to do.
We want to keep seeking His presence, following His leading, making disciples, loving people well, serving our community, and enjoying the life He has given us together.

Derrick & Dana Wallace
Derrick Wallace — Senior Pastor
Derrick and Dana love people and enjoy sharing life with the church — worshiping, laughing, praying, serving, growing, celebrating, carrying one another’s burdens, and walking together through every season of life.
They believe following Jesus is meant to be lived with others and want RFBC to be a place where people experience the joy of knowing God and the strength of growing together.
As senior pastor, Derrick has a heart for helping people know God deeply, understand His Word, and learn to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in everyday life.
He is passionate about prayer, discipleship, and helping people discover who God has called them to be.
Derrick and Dana are grateful to be part of the RFBC church family and consider it a privilege to walk alongside the people God brings here.
